No longer can we talk about a future climate crisis; we are now in the state of “burning emergency”. According to Bill McKibben, internationally respected environmentalist, we have just around 9 years left to turn things around for our climate and our communities.
We are asking you to help us address this urgency through peaceful, thoughtful and effective means by collaboration, support and information exchange to bring awareness and rapid action.

60 Years of Changemakers
The Temple of Understanding, founded 60 years ago by Juliet Hollister, advocates for interfaith values in the secular setting of the United Nations in support of peace, justice, human rights, and environmental sustainability.
These two newly launched programs of the Temple of Understanding, the Forum2020 (ongoing annual event) and the ECO JUSTICE FOR ALL interview series are where world religious and spiritual visionaries, Indigenous leaders, powerful youth environmental activists, and advocates from the spheres of science, economics and philosophy are coming together to address the urgency of the climate crisis with strategies for inspired collective action.
